Assembly and Cleat Placing |

1.
To connect the two mating frames, align
them as closely as possible without attaching them. Once in
place, use metal grips to temporarily hold them in place. |

2.
Insert the carriage bolts and secure the ducts firmly.

3.
Place the Mez Cleat in the cleating tool and hook it on the face
of one of the mating flanges. Pull the tool over the opposite
flange until the Cleat snaps into place. |

4.
When spacing the cleats, always start from the corners and
work towards the center of the duct. If the connection is
exposed to the weather elements, a full length can be used to
cover the entire connection. |
