The Mez S-Series (standard) flanges are precision roll-formed using top quality materials and are available in both the 120-S and the 130-S sizes which carry respective SMACNA reinforcement ratings of “F” and “J”. Both flanges feature an advanced A-frame profile designed to minimize deflection and provide a unique sealing method, consisting of two strategically placed pockets filled with factory-applied non-hardening sealant – a larger pocket where the end of the duct contacts the flange, making proper installation an easy task, and another one at the mechanical fastener’s penetration point making the flange, fastener and cut wall a virtually airtight assembly.
